Graphical Data Representations – We Feel Fine

One of the aims of this blog is to present, in addition to my own work, websites I have found that got my interest.

First one I am posting on this category is We Feel Fine, “An exploration of human emotion, in six movements” as its authors describe it. I found it while doing some research for one of my latest projects.

Somewhere in between a RIA and one social art project, WeFeelFine blew my mind when I first saw it.
WFF daily captures from a huge number of blogs around the globe any ccurrences of the phrases “I feel…” and “I am feeling…”. Once that information is saved to its database, it’s represented by a small bouncing colored dot (different colors for each scanned feeling).
There is no hierarchy, no organization whatsoever on the first glance. After looking at numerous data organizations systems, this chaotic paradigm was the one that really got my attention.

Chaos is beauty but try telling that to your clients!

Other sites I found during the research:
-VisualComplexity
-Der-mo.net
-Call & Response
